OXIDISED WAXES

Oxidised wax for industrial formulations

Oxidised Waxes

The Ceranox range reflects Cerax’s experience as a producer and developer of oxidised waxes. Using raw materials with different molecular weights and carefully controlled processing conditions, Ceranox grades can be customised around customer requirements or considered as alternatives to established products. Oxidised waxes are used across emulsions and dispersions, PVC lubrication, functional coatings, industrial polishes and anti-corrosion applications.

Selecting an oxidised wax depends on the functionality required in the formulation, as well as processing conditions and the desired finished performance. Cerax can support customers in reviewing these application factors and identifying a suitable grade or development route. Depending on the level of functionality and handling requirements, Ceranox products can be supplied as coarse powder, pastilles, slab stock or drum stock. This combination of formulation input, controlled oxidation and practical solidification options allows the product form to be aligned with the customer’s manufacturing process and supply needs.

For an initial technical discussion, customers can share the application, current material, processing temperature, required functional properties and preferred physical form. These details give the Cerax team a practical basis for comparing available grades, assessing whether a custom development is appropriate and planning samples or further evaluation before routine supply.
